Naylor Flowers is a family-run flower business based in South Lincolnshire. The business is led by Matthew Naylor, with a wider team covering growing, crop management, harvesting, packing, logistics and administration.
Flower farming needs many different skills. Some of the work is planned months ahead, including crop choice, planting schedules and retailer programmes. Some of it changes by the hour, especially when the weather shifts or a field comes ready earlier than expected.
Our growers and production team keep a close eye on crop quality in the field. Harvest teams pick flowers at the right stage so they arrive looking fresh and strong. In the packhouse, stems are handled carefully and prepared for customers. The office and logistics teams keep orders, timings and deliveries moving.
During peak season, the workforce grows significantly. Flower crops can be labour-intensive, and many stems are still picked by hand. That human skill is a big part of the finished product.
